David Buckingham explains that identity is something that is unique to all of us and people use identity to distingiush ourselves from other individuals
However Buckingham explains that even though we think our identites are unique to us, we actually share similar indentites with other individuals making a boarder collective or social group.
Web 2.0 is the way we can upload content to the internet, Buckingham states that teenagers use web 2.0 to share and challenge the dominant ideology, they also can create 'polished up' versions of themselves. Blog provides the opportunity for a "nice shiny me"
