• Turned Sa's mud into solid earth
• Made plants and animals
• was taken as Sa's guest
• Marries Sa's daughter

CREATION

Beginning

• Sa creates vast sea of mud
• Alatangana wasnt pleased
• Creates earth out of mud
• creates plants and animals to fill the earth

CHILDREN of Alatangana

• 7 girls and 7 boys
• 4 of each light skinned, 3 of each dark
• all spoke different languages
• was a curse from Sa due to Alatangana stealing his daughter
• Became the peoples all over the world

Light

• All of the people lived in darkness
• Alatangana asked Sa for help with two birds
• Their song created daylight
• Thats why the morning begins with the call of the tou--tou bird and the cry of the rooster

Death

• Because Sa helped, he wanted something in return
• he was able to claim any of Alatangana's offspring whenever he chooses
• Alatangana reluctantly agreed
• Explains the mystery of Death
