SOME FACTS

  • On March 23, 2015, firing squad was reauthorized in Utah
  • Hanging is still used in Delaware and Washington, although both have lethal injection
  • As of April 17, 2015, Oklahoma introduced death by nitrogen gas as an alternative to lethal injection if the necessary drugs cannot be found
