• This desert is 5-15 miles wide,and 140 miles long
• Many scenes from Star Wars were filmed there.
• There were borax mines there
• Its also the lowest point below sea level

HUMAN IMPACT ON DEATH VALLEY

• There is air pollution in death valley from nearby power plants
• There has also been light pollution from neon lights from Las Vegas affecting the sky
• As well as burros overgrazing

TOURISM

• Over one million people have visited Death Valley .
• If every person that visited picked up a rock or branch,it would be empty
• Weird as it is people like to go camping there.
