  • Death Valleys area is around 3000 square miles
  • Most of it is very dry
  • Some parts have vegetation while others are a desert

Death Valleys location is between two plates that are colliding into each other. The mountains formed when one of the plates went up and the other down.

Volcanoes help add on to the mountains. The mountains had a lot of magma built up underneath and exploded. Erosion was also a key factor in making the Death Valley.

Our landform is both erosional and depositional because everyday the wind picks of pieces of rocks and deposits them in another location.

Death Valley is the lowest point in North America.

Badwater has over 11,000 feet of salts and sediment underneath.
