THE PROCESS OF DEBT SLAVERY

  • Someone owes a debt to their debtor.
  • They become employed to their debtor without pay to repay said debt.
  • Their debtor adds living expenses/interest onto the debt, usually making it nigh impossible to repay.
  • This is most common in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

THE PROCESS OF WAGE SLAVERY

  • Person doesn't need to accumulate a debt.
  • This is when a person makes just enough money to afford living expenses and nothing else. Common among minimum wage workers.
  • Made even worse when a debt is added, as they possibly would need to take up a second job to afford existing.
