DECIDUOUS DEFINITION

  • Temperate deciduous forest are forests in cool and rainy areas with trees
  • that loose their leaves in the fall and regain them in the spring.

  • Animals: brown and black bears, frogs, racoons, hawks, weasles, and humans
  • Plants: oak and sweet gum trees, chesnut, huckleberries, and azaleas
  • Additional: lichens, club mosses, and true mosses
