PRESENTATION OUTLINE

DECOMPOSITION AND NITROGEN CYCLE

  • Decomposition is a help to the nitrogen cycle because it is one of the many ways that nitrogen is returned to the earths soil. That's because when something dies before the nitrogen can get out of that plant or animal, but with the help of decomposition which reads down the body and the nitrogen goes back out into the soil.

NITROGEN

  • Nitrogen is important to all living things because proteins are made up of part nitrogen and without it we would lack a lot of nourishment.
  • Plants require nitrogen so if they didn't have it their food system would fail and they would eventually die

DECOMPOSITION

THIS TREE HAS LICHENS WHICH IA PART OF DECOMPOSITION BECAUSE LICHENS SOMETIMES GROW WHEN THERE IA A PLANT OR TREE THAT IS DYING OR IS STARTEING TO DECOMPOSE..

DECOMPOSITION

THIS IS ALSO DECOMPOSITION BECAUSE THERE ARE MUSHROOMS ON THE TREE AND THAT IS A PART OF DECOMPOSITION BECAUSE MUSHROOMS ARE BIG DECOMPOSERES.

DECOMPOSITION

  • This is decomposition because anything dies it always decomposes and eventually disappears and becomes fertilizer.

DECOMPOSITION

  • This is decomposition because this tree has been laying on the ground broken for some time but when after it lays there for maybe a year it will decompose by lichens or by mushrooms.
