What do deer provide? Deer provide roasted meat, protein, riboflavin, niacin, iron, cooked liver, vitamin A and niacin viamine. Sorry I didn't know how to say some of those words.

A quick fact about deer are there are tons in B.C.

for game animals.
Hannah:
Deer are very good game animals and are one of the most common hunting animals.

The big hunts for deer, are when it's fall and the deer are fat.

Amber:
The big hunting time for deer were when the deer are
fat and it's fall and by fat I mean
bigger than usual.

  • 90g cooked deer liver has enough vitamin A to give an adult male for 16 days.
  • Deer was smoked so it could last longer by the First Nations. Exactly where they shot it they would smoke it.
  • Deer meat is cut into slabs 2-3 cm long.
