Primary school starts at age 6, and lasts for 6 years
Secondary school starts at age 12 and lasts for another 6 years
Over 2 Million children will never go to school in the DRC.
The school system in the DRC is a pulbic schooling system
Though, More than half of school cost falls on the families
On average there is only one teacher for every 37 students in the DRC
A lot of children can't go to school because of conflicts
The average salary for a DRC teacher is $35 - $40 a month
DRC Teachers are supposed to earn a minimum of $208 a month.
