POPULATION

  • As of 2011, Denmark was at a population of 5,529,888.
  • As of 2012, Denmark was at a population of 5,580,516.
  • Makes it 111th most populated country.

HABITAT ALTERATION

  • Is a change done to a certain environment where organism and species live in.
  • This mainly causes issues like pollution, invasive species, and aquaculture.
  • Physical damage is also a type of alteration such as poor fishing gear.

INVASIVE SPECIES

  • Any kind of living organism which wan't born into a particular ecosystem.
  • Grows and reproduces quickly, allowing it to spread.
  • Could cause harm to this ecosystem.
  • Alitta succinea (rag warm) is known to alter nutrients in sediment.
  • Affects sediment dwellers in Denmark.

POLLUTION

  • When gathering takes place in an atmosphere of different substances
  • Causes ecosystem to degrade, harm and endanger human health
  • Air pollution is a problem in Denmark
  • This includes ultra fine particles ( health hazardous) in the city and nitrogen fallout
  • On a worldwide level, most serious problem is the co2

HARVESTING OF SPECIES

  • Denmark was once filled with trees although over time became cultivated
  • Agriculture and forest were cut down
