  • They get the warm gulf stream which keeps the water from freezing
  • They have very long winters and short summers.

  • Denmark is a peninsula which helps them with shipping and trade.
  • They get the warm gulf stream current at the top of the peninsula.
  • Denmark has low to gently rolling plains

THE POPULATION IS 5.4 MILLION WHICH IS ABOUT THE SAME AS FINLAND (5.2 m)

DAILY LIFE FOR CHILDREN

  • Required to go to school.
  • They have to go from ages 7-16
  • Many children attend public schools which are very good
  • Education is free.

CHILDREN

  • The children are raised to be very independent
  • They are raised to ask lots of questions
  • Many of the are curious
  • Children watch lots of TV

ADULTS

  • Many mothers leave baby carriges outside everywhere.
  • They do that because Denmark is very safe.
  • The adults enjoy the finer things in life.
  • Many parts of Denmark have very sophisticated adults.

SPORTS AND GAMES

  • The Danes are very good at badminton.
  • Futball is a very popular sport played
  • During the summer, danes like to bike, swim, and sail.

  • Many people come for the old midevill castles and buildings.
  • Such as the kronborg castle near Helsingør.
  • Many people come to see the original LEGO land in Billund.
  • There are many old towns.
  • During the short summers people come to the beaches.
