CONVECTION CURRENT

• A convection current happens when
• Air is heated so it rises while its up there
• It cools so it goes back down
• This cycle reapeats over and over again
• And this also explains tecktonic movement and the water cycle

MATERIALS

• Balloon
• Beaker
• Ice bucket
• Heating plate

PROCEDURE

• As the ballon is tied on the beaker
• You place it in the heating plate and the ballon expands
• Then place it in ice bucket and it deflates

PRESENTATION

• Using a ballon to show how air is heated and air rises
• This occurs everywhere in earth
• Creates a circle that repeats forever

DEFINTION

• Temperature: a measure of warmth or coldness of an object or substance with reference to some standard value
• Density :the state or quality of being dense; closely set to crowded condition

CONCLUSION

• As things heat they rise
• As things cool they fall
