Indentifying

• Deponent verbs only have 3 Principle Parts
• Locor- I talk
• Loqui- To talk
• Loctus sum- I have talked

How do i Identify what Conjugation?

• Look at the 2nd Principle Part
• Conor, Conari, Conatus sum- Long "A" means it's 1st
• Veror, Vereri, Veritus sum- Long "E" means it's 2nd
• Regredior, Regredi, Regressus sum- Short "E" means it's 3rd
• Eperior, Experiri, Expertus Sum- Short "E" + "ior" in 1st means it's 3io

What endings do i use?

• Deponent verbs use Passive endings
• r, ris, tur, mur, mini, ntur
• To find stem in 1st 2nd 4th take away "RI" then add endings
• Translate actively 

What about 3rd?

• 1st person uses 1st P.P
• 2nd person drop "I" add "E" and endings
• 3rd singular, 2nd plural add endings to second P.P
• 3rd Plural drop "I" add "U" and endings

IMperfect

• Take stem add "BA" and passive endings
• Translated as- ______ed

future

• Add "BO, BI, BU" or "A, E" and passive endings
• Translated as- Will ______

Pluperfect

• Take 3rd P.P and add imperfect of eram eras arat
• Translated as Had ______ed

Future Perfect

• 3rd take off "sum"
• Add esse, eris erit
• Translated as- Will have _____ed
