• People were asked to remember a series of numbers while listening to music and to record how many numbers they remembered.
• They remembered more than the control group.

CONTROL GROUP:

• People were asked to remembeber a series of numbers without listening to music and to record how much they remembered.

INDEPENDENT VARIABLE:

• Listening to music while studying.

DEPENDENT VARIABLE:

• The difference between the amount of numbers that the people from each group remembered.
