  • Sylvia Plath was born in Boston, on the 27th of october 1932,
  • Her parents were Otto Emil Plath and Aurelia Schober
  • Plath studied between 1955 and 1957 at Newnham Collage in Cambridge
  • She was married to Ted Hughes and had two kids
  • She struggled with intense depression and first tried to commit suicide in 1953
