• place kid in a controlled setting without background noise or devices within reach or ear shot
• set time aside for device usage
• Set a study schedule
• set rules for online browsing
• set a good example by not multitasking

• Have the kids use education based apps
• Incentivize the kids to get their work done so they can use their devices
• Monitor and be attentive to what the kids are looking at
