DIESEL MECHANIC

MY CHOICE

• I chose to be a Diesel Mechanic
• I really enjoy working on vehicles
• This would be considered a Heavy Machinery Mechanic

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• This interest requires at least a 2 year technical school
• They would teach you basic mechanics and automotive electronics
• Two good places to go for school would be UTI and WYO TECH

INCOME

• The income isnt the best but I enjoy the profession
• The average income is about 45,000 a year
• The low 10% is 30,000
• The high 10% 60,000
• More education= more money

JOB DUTIES

• Engine rebuilds
• Reading a schematic
• Wiring a electrical system
• Twisting a wrench.

AFTER SCHOOLING

• There would be a few places to go
• Of those place some of them are Cummins
• and Caterpillar to be a Diesel Mechanic.
