DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

  • The digestive system is made up of the digestive tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder
  • The digestive tract is composed of hollow organs made into a tube from the mouth to the anus
  • It breaks down food into nutrients and uses it for energy, growth, and cell repair
  • Hormone and nerve regulators control the digestive process.

JUNK FOOD

  • Composed of carbohydrates, refined sugar, salt, fats, and has low nutritional value
  • These ingredients could lead to obesity, diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease.
  • Consumption of these foods slow down digestion and creates bloating in the stomach
  • To prevent bloating, the stomach obtains the enzymes located in the food and distinguishes it

EXERCISING AND DIGESTION

  • Exercise helps blood flow which improves the movement of the digestive tract
  • It slows down the digestion process in order to conserve energy
  • Exercising on a full stomach can cause cramps, nausea or vomiting
  • So exercise such as Cardio, Aerobics, and Yoga can help improve digestion

FIBER

  • Fiber provides time, energy, and comfortable excretion
  • Lack of fiber creates Constipation and causes painful and hard bowel movements
  • Although constipation is temporary, it causes relentless struggle and pain
  • Exercising,eating the appropriate foods, and drinking plenty of water can prevent Constipation

GALLSTONES

  • Gallstones are small solidified substances that form inside the Gallbladder
  • They are made from Bile and are stored inside the gallbladder
  • Bile is acidic liquid that is made from the Liver. It's composed of salts, proteins, and water
  • Gallstones create pain in the upper region of the abdomen and may cause nausea
  • Over consumption of fattening snacks can lead to Gallstones
