BLUE POISON DART FROG

  • This frog lay their eggs in plants, exposed roots, and in leaves
  • They range 1.5 cm (0.59 inch) to 6 cm (2.4 inch) in length
  • The average lifspan of poisonis frogs is 3 to 15 years in the wild
  • They are seen to carry both eggs and tadpoles on their back. This is called backpacking

RED EYED TREE FROG

  • carnivorous and eat mostly insects like flys, crickets,moths, sometimes eat smaller frogs
  • Have suction cups on its toes that lets them climb trees and on leaves
  • They have bright colors that can confuse the predator and not no where its at

TOADS

  • They can live up to 3 to 5 years in the wild
  • They puff themselves up to trick the predator that they are to big to eat
  • Toads have no teeth
  • Their skin is rough,dry,leathery,and lumpy

BULLFROGS

  • The female bullfrogs are larger and longer than the male
  • This frog is named bullfrog because it can produce cow- like mooing (male)
  • Bullfrogs have a strong body, head,mouth, and there webbed feet makes them go through the water easily
  • They hibernate during the winter, under mud. They come out when the weather improves

DWARF FROGS

  • They dont have good eye sight beyond a few centimeters
  • Are freshwater frogs
  • They are known for not good swimmers
  • Are docile enougth to mix with goldfish, catfish, guppies, beta fish, tetras,swordtails and platies

YELLOW BANDED POISON DART FROG

  • A single yellow banded adult poison frog can hold 35- liters of vivarium
  • Yellow skin marked with black stripes,with a combination of its poison's skin
  • They can adapt in dry enviornments (forest) that have high altitudes
  • During their age, the black stripes will break and turn into black spots

TOMATO FROG

  • Breeds in shallow pools, swamps,and areas of slow- moving water
  • Females will lay about 1,000 to 15,000 eggs on the surface of water
  • They give themself a apperance of a bigger size when they are threatened
  • Tomatoe frogs usually feed in small invertabrates

FIRE BELLIED FROGS

  • When danger, make a arch with its back or evin flip to show its bright belly
  • Their predators are foxes, snakes, cats, lizards, and large fish
  • Poison in skin, it prevents bacterial, fungal infection,attack from large predator
  • It cannot kill a man, but it can induce their skin sensitivty

Why I chose this topic
I chose the topic frogs because I really don't know about them and they seem like really cool animals to learn about!
