- Historical fiction: a fake story that is placed a long time ago
- Realistic fiction: a fiction book that can be non fiction but isn't
- Science fiction: a form of fiction that is placed very far into the future
- Animal fiction: a story where there are talking animals
NON-FICTION

- Biography: a story of a person written by a fan or admirer
- Autobiography: a story where the writer writes about his/her life
- Memoir: the writers records of experiences from their life
