Is the tube that moves the food from your mouth to your stomach

STOMACH
The smooth layers of muscle in the walls of the stomach contract making a churning motion.
It also mixes the food with the digestive juices

SMALL INTESTINE
Breaks down fats, starches,and proteins
Contains villi that are finger like structure that absorb the nutrients and pass it to the blood cells

LARGE INTESTINE
Absorbs water into the blood stream and readies excess water to exit the body

The digestive system works with the muscle system by using muscles to break down foods. It also works with the excretory system helping preparing waste to exit. As well as the circulatory system to distribute nutrients.

Caffeine,aspirin,acidic foods or juices
Eat smaller meals , avoid eating before bed, and stop smoking

Stop drinking ,medications,reduce salt in diet

It takes approximately 7 seconds for food to travel through the esophagus and reach the stomach
An adult female's small intestine is longer than the average adult male
The stomach of an adult holds 1.5 liters of food and food stays here for 2-3 hours
