Story-Prosymnus
Dionysus had feared for his mother because he had not seen her since birth. So since he was one of the few out of the 12 Olympians that could bring the dead from the underworld back to life. He got passed the god of death (Thanatos) and successfully returned his mother semele back to mount Olympus. Now that his mother was rescued he had placed her among the stars. But he could not have done this without the help of Prosymnus (Polymnus) who helped guide him through all of it. Prosymnus requested for his reward that dionysus would be his lover. Sadly Prosymnus past away before dionysus could honor him. So in order to do that he got a branch from a olive tree and sat on it at Prosymnus tomb.
