  • Only 1 in five people with disabilities even try to work

  • Outreach/info about education programs for in demand occupations

Integrated Resource Team

  • Unique to the individual
  • Representatives from various organizations
  • All work with a unified goal
  • Creates an increased level of support

Ticket to Work

  • Employment support for people w/disabilities who want to go to work
  • Goal is to increase choices of employment support from various providers
  • Participation begins when a person reaches an agreement with an EN or VR agency (assigns their ticket)
  • Administered by SSA

What is an EN

  • Entity that contracts with SSA to deliver services to SS Disability beneficiaries
  • Can be a single person, organization, alliance or collaboration
  • Our EN is the Employment Security Department

TTW & Sustained Funding

  • Individuals receiving SSI or SSDI payments
  • Work w/job seeker to develop individual work plan
  • When people return to work and earn income payments are generated to EN
  • 1 ticket can generate $20,000 long term

  • SSDI: 11 months $413 per month ($4,543)
  • SSI 18 months at $238 per month ($4,284)

Outcome Payments

  • Beneficiary >SGA and benefits cease due to earnings
  • SSDI: 36 months at $413 ($14,868)
  • SSI: 60 months at $238 ($14,280)
