SYMPTOMS
Persistent dry cough
Some dogs develop a fever and nasal discharge
Not much changes

PREVENTION
Best way is to prevent exposure
Vaccinations are also available

TREATMENT
Should be isolated from other dogs
signs of kennel cough usually decrease or disappear after three weeks
Most dogs will recover without treatment
Go to vet if it doesn't recover by six weeks
It may last longer in older dogs and dogs with medical conditions
