Favorite Part:
My favorite part of the book is when all of the Dauntless initiates played paintball outside of the fence at an abandon fairground playing capture the flag.

Plot:
The plot in Divergent is about an abnegation girl (Beatrice) who later changes her name to Tris. Tris is a divergent which means can be in more than one faction which are killed because people are afraid of what they can do. Out of all of the choices she chooses dauntless which means fearless and she meats Four one of the main characters he is a divergent to and he helps her survive. Tris becomes number one overall in initiation which is because she is divergent. Jeanine creates a serum that controls people's minds. She uses the serum to use the dauntless to kill abnegation leaders because she is corrupt and wants to control the government and get nice cars and be greedy...

Plot Continued:
When the abnegation wants to help the factionless (homeless people) eat food and be cared for. Tris shuts the system down and all of the dauntless come back.

POINT OF VIEW

Theme:
The theme of divergent is that we can't be separated into different groups because no one is completely honest,selfless, and brave its a combination because someone is bound to feel left out.

CONFLICT:
The conflict in Divergent is that Jeanine made this serum that made all of the Dauntless turn and do what ever the program tells them to do which in that case was to kill all of the abnegation leaders.

RESOLUTION:

Climax:
The climax in my opinion was when the serum started and everyone started to get mind controlled except for the Divergent.
