THE FACTS

  • Diversity: race, age, religion, gender, ect
  • By 2020 36% of the up US population will be minorities
  • By 2050 that number will increase to 47%
  • By this time nearly 50% of employees will be female
  • These are only a few reasons why diversity is important

WHO WILL BENEFIT?

  • A diverse staff is better able to see and respond to changing trends
  • They will better respond to a diverse consumer market
  • Diverse teams differ in experiences giving many different points of view
  • With many view points many different solutions will come forth
  • Clients are demanding a diverse staff of companies

  • Diverse teams may come up with more creative solutions to a problem
  • Diverse teams may be much more effective in their problem-solving
  • Different view produce different solution to problems in work place

  • Men with female bosses often find them favoring their female workers
  • Older workers feel the deck is stacked in favor of younger workers
