Oh no! Halloween is tomorrow and you still don't have a costume?!?! Well I know how to help you now. I few quick steps to make a easy windup doll costume, and you'll be ready for tomorrow!
You’ll need simple household materials- like cardboard, masking tape,a spool of thread,a toilet paper tube, and scissors. You will also need sewing elastic. And if you want to, you can use paint to paint it.
First draw a circle using the roll of masking tape as a tracing material.Then overlap the circle by ½ a inch and trace another circle.
Next make inner circles with a spool of thread. Then cut two slits to make the stem that are vertical underneath the two circles.
Next cut the key shape out.Then pierce the small circles in the center of the bigger circles,then cut along the lines to remove the circles.
Then if you want to, you can paint one side of the key and let it dry then do the other side. Next paint the tube that you're putting the key in.
When they are dry put the key inside the tube. At the end of the open side of the tube, cut a slit that is horizontal slit on each side so you can put the elastic through each side to make a belt. Make sure the elastic is even on each side. Put the elastic through the slits and tie it around your waist.
