CHARACTERS

• Nikki J. Maxwell-Main Character:She is the writer of the diary we are reading, which is the bases of the story line.
• Zoe-Main Character:She is Nikki’s Best Friend
• Chloe-Main Character:She is Nikki and Zoe’s Best Friend
• MacKenzie-Main Character:She is the antagonist. She bullies Nikki and her friends.

CHARACTERS

• Brandon-Main Character:Nikki’s Crush.
• Sensei Hawkins-Minor Character:Nikki’s karate teacher, who she does not like.He eats all the time.
• Trevor Chase-Main Character:He is a famous guy that has a concert nearby that the girls attend. He helps Nikki become famous.
• Blaine Blackwell-Minor Character:Only mentioned briefly. He styled the girls by mistake thinking they were backup dancers.

CHARACTERS

• Mom-Minor Character:Nikki’s mother. She can not cook her food tastes horrible.
• Dad-Minor Character:Nikki’s father. He sometimes embaress Nikki. He is a bug exterminator and owns his own business.
• Brianna-Minor Character:Nikki’s little sister. She is a very gullible little girl. She is a very mischievous and messy kid that likes to get her big sister into trouble.

This story takes place in Westchester, New York. It is during spring, in a modern day setting.

After Going To The Valentines Day Dance Nikki Soon Gets A Phone Call From the famous tv star producer Trevor Chase. Trevor Chase then gives Nikki 3 backstage passes one for her and the other 2 for her friends Chloe and Zoe. They all then show up to the “Bad Boyz” concert and unexpectedly run into Mackenzie, she then spills water on Chloe making her freak out. Then when Nikki and Zoe try to dry off Chloe, Mackenzie steals their backstage passes. Nikki and her friends thinking that they still have their backstage passes, they go in asking to go into the concert. When Nikki goes to show the backstage passes to the security guard the backstage passes are gone!

After trying to convince that someone had stolen their backstage passes, the security guard kicks them out. But Nikki finds a way to get backstage, she sees a clothes rack headed to the backstage and Nikki and her friends hitch a ride on the clothes rack. They finally get backstage and run into Blaine Blackwell. He Assumes that they are “back up dancers” and he gets them all dressed up and ready. They are no longer recognized from the security guards and they make their way until they see Mackenzie. Mackenzie then notices them too, she had their backstage passes. She then walks over to Nikki and her friends mistaking her for one of the “Dance Divas” Mackenzie asks for an autograph and when she does Nikki her a note, and Mackenzie realizes that it’s actually Nikki.

A big disagreement starts going saying whose real and whose the imposter, Blaine Blackwell then walks in and joins in the argument. He believes Mackenzie and calls security on Nikki and her friends, Trevor Chase unexpectedly walks in and breaks up the whole controversy. Mackenzie looses the argument and Nikki Gets Her Record Deal. Nikki then gets her very own tv show called “Nikki Maxwell: The Making Of A POP Princess!”. The next day she realizes she now has a karate class, and Soon meets her karate teacher Sensei Hawkins, Nikki decides she dislikes her karate teacher. Nikki soon hates her tv life because her parents are now involved! Nikki doesn’t want her life to be embarrassing so she convinces her little sister Brianna that painting red dots all over your body is the new “trend” so Brianna let’s Nikki paint the red dots on her face.

When the tv crew arrive they see Brianna and assume that she has chicken pox, they all get back in the van and drive away until she gets better. At school Mackenzie tells off Nikki but Nikki gets her back, Mackenzie then sees the camera crew and hijacks It Making Her the center of attention. Mackenzie tells Brandon a bunch of lies, and the camera crew won’t stop following Nikki. When Everything gets resolved Nikki goes to a ski resort and opens up a kiss booth for a fund raiser she then sees her crush Brandon standing there with $5.00 in his hand, and that is when Nikki gets her first kiss.

I Believe The Lesson Of The Story Would Be: To always keep up with your stuff and not set it down or someone will steal it.

My favorite part of the story is where Nikki struggles through her karate class and meets her weird karate teacher Hawkins. The reason I like this part of the story is because it’s just funny to me how her karate teacher randomly pulls food out of his shirt and eats it every time she mentions him. Another part I liked in the story was the part where Nikki tricks her little sister into thinking that painting red dots on your face is the new trend and she ends up scaring the tv crew away because they think she has chicken pox.

I would recommend this book to a friend because I rate this book a 7/10. I would recommend this to a friend because it was very entertaining to read. Reading this book was like riding a roller coaster. I hope the next person to read this book will enjoy it as much as I did.

A lot of stuff happened that I didn’t expect. For example Nikki gets kissed by her crush Brandon and Nikki gets a record deal from a famous tv star producer. But everything seemed to be better than expected.
