EARLY YEARS

• I was born January 18, 1856
• My parents were Sarah Price Williams and Daniel Williams
• I was an only child
• I married Alice Johnson in 1896
• I became a shoemaker

START OF CAREER

• I was a African American Doctor
• I opened a provident Hospital in 1893
• I performed a heart surgery to get the bullet out

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• I performed a first ever successful heart surgery
• I had lots of help at the hospital
• Everyone was so nice and helpful

HARDSHIPS

• I had lots of studies
• The biggest hardship was people passing away
• All of my free time I worked on my studies
• On some I didn’t really know what to do

FINAL DAYS

• I died August 4 1931
• I died because of a stoke
• If I had a longer life I would have still helped people
