MEDICINAL DRUGS

STIMULANTS

• Stimulants as the name suggests stimulate feelings
• It makes people more alert, attentive, inreases energy
• It also increases blood pressure and heart rate

• Depressants are informally known as downers
• They can reduce pain of symptoms of mental illnesses
• Sometimes these are used as sleeping pills

HALOCINOGINES

• Also as the name suggests the drugs can cause hallucinations
• These are images that the drugs make in your mind
• You can not tell if they are actually real or not
• They can be found in plants and mushrooms or can be man made

• It can be extremely hard to withdraw yourself from an addiction
