• Dublin has many education services availbe such as trinity college and UCD
• Dublin also has a very good health service and has many hospitals

DUBLIN PORT

• Dublin has a very big port and is the centre of the shipping industry in ireland.
• Alot of the ferries in ireland land in dublin port.
• Last year the port brought in €50 million through cruise liners last year

DUBLIN AIRPORT

• Over 1 million people pass through everyday
• It is one of the main airports in ireland

ROADS

• Dublin is the nodal point for all the motorways in ireland.
• The M1,2,3,4,7,11 and 50 all meet in dublin.
• The N1,2,3,4,7,11 and 81 all meet in dublin

RAILWAYS

• Heuston and Connoly station are the main train stations in ireland
• All the trains from the north and north west of ireland go to connolly
• All the trains from the south and midlands go to heuston stations

THE IFSC

• It was set up in 1987
• It is the centre for irelands financial needs
• It was set up to improve employement and boost the economy

SHOPPING IN DUBLIN

• Dublin is one of the best places in the country to go shopping.
• Dublin has many large shopping centres including liffey valley
• Grafton street is the most famous shopping street in Ireland
