Dwight D. Eisenhower was born on October, 14th 1890 in Denison Texas.

Dwight wanted to go overseas during World War I but got appointed to teach a tank camp

During his career Dwight went up in the ranks and got promoted to lieutenet on his wedding day

Dwight was in 15 different ranks and fifteen awards.

  • Dwight raced against Adlia Stevenson
  • Was president from 1956-1961
  • Eisenhower signed the civil rights legislation in 1957 allowing African Americans and White Americans to get along.

  • Soon after being elected President Dwight ended the Korean war
  • He tried to patch up relations with the Soviet Union with the ''open skies'' policy
  • Soviet Union rejected the offer.
