OVER POPULATION

Overpopulation is when
when a city, town or even whole country's population is so dense. That the condition of living is greatly decreased. The amount of people exceeds the amount of resources.

Our solution is to prevent early pregnancies by separating boys and girls until they are graduated from college.

Parents will easily buy into this because boys and girls will be able to focus on their studies instead of each other.

The second part of our solution is a "breeding season" baby's born out side of a certain two month period will be killed.

Government officials should buy into this solution because it will limit population growth

Why this is a dystopia

Lack of individuality, because everyone's birthday is compressed into two months you probably would have to share your birthday with 10 or 15 other people you know.

Lack of freedom to see your brothers and sisters. Ignorance of what the other gender is like.

Mildred's Perspective

• The world population is great
• I'm glad I don't have to worry about my daughter and boys
• My son and daughter are doing great in school

CLARISSE'S PERSPECTIVE

• My children have never met
• 9 of my co workers share my birthday
• I'd rather have a child born in April

To escape this dystopia one might organize an underground movement in which bothers and sisters could meet each other

Another option is to somehow create a situation in which everybody gives birth at the wrong time. Causing the government to re-think the law.
