PERMANENT SHELTER Now that they farmed and have food they could make a permanent home. They made better homes because they had time. They used the homes to stay warm, to sleep, keep animals away and to cook in.
PERMANENT SHELTER NOW We now still have permanent homes, but better and stronger than in the Neolithic age. We now use them to cook, sleep, eat, play and stay warm.
WEAVING Because they had enough a food to survive they wanted better clothing, so they invented weaving. Weaving helped them make better clothes and blankets.
DEVELOPMENT OF WRITING They also invented something to keep track of their crops and goods, it is called writing. They wrote on clay tablets in cuneiform. Cuneiform had about 700 symbols.
