Timeline Events 1845-1861

  • the mexican-american war ignited to establish texas boundaries
  • After several years,Texas was finally a state.

Facts (dramatic events)

  • When the civil war came over 30 percent of texas was african american slaves
  • governor peter h. bell took place in the boundary act
  • Their goal was to gt more money to make texas better in orter to get the money they needed to agree to sell part of their land

to shorten things out, texas held slavery and used more time to develope a better state and be the one it is today. the changes made in 1845-1861 were changes to remember.

remember 30 percent of the state was arfrican american slaves.
