THE MONEY WERE GETTING BACK

  • We have 20 pizzas = 160 slices x $1.50 = $240
  • We have 150 bags of chips = $150
  • We have five 36packs of pop - 180 cans = $180
  • $4 to enter x 441 students = around $0- $1,764
  • Our revenue is $2,334

Untitled Slide

Untitled Slide

  • $2,334 revenue - $480 expenses= $1,854 profit

BREAKING EVEN

  • Expenses + the same amount of profit = break even point
  • We will break even when we sell 120 tickets
  • $480 (expenses) divided by $4 (ticket price) = 120

POSSIBLE LOSS

  • The maximum loss is $480
  • We may lose money from not selling enough food
  • We may lose money from people not wanting to come

MAXIMUM PROFIT

  • Expenses = $480
  • And if everyone in the school came and bought a ticket
  • 441 students x $4 entry fee + money from supplies - expenses = $1,854
  • If we run out of supplies we will buy more so we may have $1,854+
