SEA OF JAPAN

  • The sea protected Japan from land invasions.
  • A very warm climate.
  • Evaporation of the sea turns into snow in the mountains.
  • The sea moves counterclockwise.
  • Once was a landlocked sea when there was a land bridge.

HUANG HE

  • Also known as the Yellow River.
  • Second largest river in Asia.
  • Called yellow river because of color of the dirt.
  • Yellow river also called muddy flow.
  • Has a lot of dams because of flooding.

GOBI DESERT

  • Is a cold desert has frost and snow sometimes.
  • Evaporation creates snow for the mountains.
  • Mostly nomadic's live there.
  • In the north and northwestern part of China.
  • Is vulnerable from livestock.

HIMALAYA MOUNTAINS

  • Is home to the highest peaks.
  • Is doted with hundreds of lakes.
  • Dry Arctic winds.
  • Religion is Hinduism.
  • Goes across five different country's.

TAIWAN

  • Republic on China.
  • No direct transportation so it's hard to travel to main land.
  • Has high speed trains that run 300 km/ hr.
  • Mandarin is a national language for Taiwan.
  • Baseball is the national sport.
