Why? Psychological counseling will address health problems caused by an eating disorder and help understand how to monitor eating vs need and by doing activities such as normalizing patterns to achieve a healthy diet which will lead to a healthy weight.
Evaluate diet for each day to spread 2,000 calories through 3-5 meals per day for everyday in between sessions
Way of being graded is by asking patient every session on thoughts and how their body is feeling which Is mentally and physically by weight gain in between sessions as well as recorded dieting
For the family I would introduce them to a dietary specialist to understand how to help maintain and restore healthy eating patterns because some may forget and relapse on diet but with help from family they can be reminded as well as motivated to continue to the road of recovery.
