Miser

Scrooge is a miser. Scrooge does not use his money. He does not even want to let his employee get the day off.

egoistic (selfish)

Scrooge is egoistic. Scrooge did not want to donate to the poor. Instead, he chased them away

cheap

Scrooge is cheap. Scrooge ate only a warm gruel while he could afford more. He does not want to spend his money.

denying

Scrooge is denying. Scrooge denies the christmas spirit. Instead his catchphrase is “BAH HUMBUG!!!”

Giving

Scrooge became giving.Scrooge donates lots of money. The same charity he denied earlier.

benevolent

Scrooge was a benevolent man. Scrooge gives his poor employee a turkey, a raise and lets him have a vacation. Unlike before, when he was sceptical about letting him have a day off.

happy

Scrooge was happy. Scrooge was happy that the ghosts made him a better person. He immediately shows and tells everyone.

Merry

Scrooge was very merry. Scrooge tells everyone “Merry Christmas”. Before, he despised that phrase.

Conclusion

Scrooge changed from a miser into a benevolent man.
