SCROOGE: A LONELY BOY

  • Scrooge spends his Christmas alone as a boy
  • In his adulthood, he spent Christmas alone because that's all he's ever known.
  • He's always bitter at Christmas time, because he's never had a good Christmas.

SCROOGE & BELLE

  • He is made bitter because of their split.
  • I think he was really in love with her so when they split, he doesn't want anyone else.
  • Because of this he has no wife or family and spends the holiday alone.

  • As a boy, he was left alone
  • This made Scrooge independent
  • He would never ask or admit he needed help because he's used to being on his own.
  • Since he had no family, he spent the holidays alone at school

  • This is probably the only person he trusted in his childhood
  • She dies later in life
  • He gains a nephew from her

SCROOGE & HIS NEPHEW

  • He tries to get Scrooge to come to the holiday dinner
  • He says "Bah! Humbug!" Saying no to the invitation
  • In the end, he shows up at dinner with a big turkey!
  • Everyone at dinner is glad to see him

  • When the ghost shows Tiny Tim's fate, it makes Scrooge sad
  • In the end Tiny Tim lives
  • Scrooge becomes like an uncle to Tiny Tim.
