Freedom

• Freedom to make economic choices without government influence
• I have the freedom to buy what i want.

efficiency

• Using resources to the fullest- not being wasteful with resources
• Having the ability to buy what I want I must first conserve resources.

equity

• To distribute a society’s wealth with fairness - right and wrong- fair economic programs .
• Equity allows me to not have to overpay for the item I want

security

• Less fortunate members of society should be taken care of    ex- unemployment, old age, accidents
• Laws and insurance allows me to keep my item secure.

stability

• Insure that what people want is available when they want it- also goal is for low unemployment and inflation rate
• I must be financially stable to continue to buy what i want.

growth

• The economy is expanding and producing more- better goods and services based on technological advances
• By continuing to work and gather money I can raise my standard of living.
