CLIMATE

THE CLIMATE AT MOST DESERTS IS HOT YEAR ROUND. MOST DESERTS GET ABOUT TEN INCHES OF RAINFALL A YEAR.

ANIMALS

  • Some examples of animals that live in the desert are snakes, scorpions and hawks.

PLANTS

  • Some plants that are found in the desert are sagebrush, wild flowers and cacti.

ADAPTATIONS

  • Camels have the ability to store water in their humps.
  • Some types of lizard has the ability to store water on its back also.
  • There is a type of lizard that can make its own shade with its tail.
  • Most animals make burrows to stay cool.
  • Also a lot of animals hunt for food at might and sleep inthe day

My ecosystem needs to be protected because there are living creatures that live here. Just because we don't know what they feel, doesn't mean we shouldn't
protect them too.
