The savanna's plant life are producers, such as grasses, Jackalberry trees, and Acacia trees.

The adaptations include trees being deeply rooted into the ground to protect itself from the dry season and fires. Grasses are dormant while its dry and grows fast when it rains.

The savanna is getting smaller due to overgrazing and farming. When this happens, the grass doesn't grow back and the savannas turn to desert.
