WHAT IS ECSTASY

  • First made in 1912
  • Known as MDMA
  • In 1970s it was used as a party drug
  • In 1985 ecstasy became illegal

Today ecstasy can contain LSD, cocaine, heroin, amphetamine and methamphetamine, also rat poison, caffeine, dog deworming substances, etc.

Short term effects:
Impaired judgement
Confusion and depression
Sleep problems
False sense of affection
Anxiety
Paranoia
Cravings and tension
Faintness and chills
Involuntary teeth clenching

Long term effects:
Brain damage
Depression
Kidney failure
Psychosis
Hemorrhaging
Death
