- The climate is an average of 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ecuador borders the Pacific Ocean at the equator and that is why it's called Ecuador.
- Ecuador contains all sorts of geographical features from deserts,to the snow capped peaks of the Andes Mountains, followed by the plains of the Amazon Basin.

- Carnival is one of the most main holidays, during Carnival they have water thrown at you it's a meaning of cleaning your body and soul.
- New Years Eve is where they burn dummies and dolls in the streets, this tradition means that there will be good luck in the new year.

SPORTS
- Ecuador's main sports include soccer,baseball,tennis and a version of volley ball called EcuaVolley except you play it on cement courts, it's a 3 on 3 game, there are higher nets, and a more liberal touch time for each contact with the ball.
- Ecuador has competed in 12 Summer Olympic Games and have never competed in the Winter Olympic Games.
