  • Ecuador finally claimed independence on May 24th,1822
  • They got there independence from Spain
  • After their freedom, they celebrated by dancing and feasting

  • Spring weather all year long
  • Average temperature is 76 degrees (day)
  • Average temperature is 50 degrees (night)

  • Most of the time have rice on their plate
  • They eat lots of meat including, pig, Guinea pig, and cow
  • They have a "Holy Week" where they celebrate God
