By the end of the card ed realizes that he's meant to help people

Ed doesn't want more cards.

He is happy that he helped the people that he did.

He is scared for the next card

At the end of the card Ed is just happy to help. He's ready for the next card and really wants to knows who sending them. He accepted the title saint, and is making a bigger name for himself as he goes along and but knows that if he stop something bad will happen to him, but he doesn't want to stop so that doesn't even bother him at all.

At the beginning of this card Ed was terrified because it was spades and he was sure that spades was to be last because of how "intimidating" the suit is.

What frightened him even more so was that, people die from heart attacks, and broken hearts. So imagine what's to happen to him since the last card is hearts.


At the end, Ed was still dreading the arrival of the last card. And then he got it…
