Make sure to download the Edmodo App. It works better on iPads than iPhones, and I'm sure there's an Android app, too.

#1 Students can use it, too!
You will need to have signed permissions for students to use this. This is Edmodo's requirement for kids under 13. It is wonderful for assignments, polls, giving them documents, etc.

Time to get started... head to https://wcpss.edmodo.com & create your account with your email. Get the group codes from the media center director or the tech facilitator.

Set your notifications to make sure you don't miss important announcements. You can choose text or email.
Until you are regularly checking Edmodo, you will want to make sure to get a notification when something happens. Go to your account (top right corner), settings, Text & Email updates (left side box), check what you want notifications for (posts, replies, etc.) and how you want to get them (text or email). Once you are using Edmodo regularly, you may want to eliminate your notifications.

Please avoid sending staff emails; use Edmodo instead.

Need to share a document?
Upload it to Edmodo in a post, and it will get sent to the correct folder for later use.
If you would like to upload docs to your team's group (i.e. LM 5th grade, etc.), you will be able to upload it in a post, save it to your library, and then add it to a folder in your group. Kristel, Trina, Elizabeth, and Tina are the only staff with access to add to the Lake Myra Staff group folders, so we will organize anything you want to post to Lake Myra.
