  • Parents were Clarnell Stage and Edmund Emil Kemper Jr.

  • Father was role model
  • His mother was abusive and an alcoholic.

  • Verbally abused by mother and pushed around by his sisters.
  • Showed psychopathic behavior early on.

Took family's cat buried it alive, dug it up cut off its head and mounted the head on a stick.

  • Parents got a devorce.
  • Had to live with his mother out in Montana.
  • Separation from his father devastated him.

Mother forced him to sleep in the locked basement because she thought he would rape his younger sister if he was not locked up.

  • Ran away form home to go find his father.
  • Found father, he had remarried and had another son.

  • He stayed with his father for a short time, then his father made his go back to his mother.
  • His mother wanted no part of him and sent him to live with his grandparents.

First Kills

  • Age 15
  • In an argument with his grandmother, grabed a rifie and shot her in the head.
  • Heard his grandfather pull up in the driveway and met him outside and shot him to death as well.

  • When questioned about his grandparents murders he said that he killed his grandfather to avoid punishment.

He took one body back to his mothers house hid it in his room, decapitated it and buried it in his mothers garden.

When questioned he said it was "a joke" claiming "she always wanted people to look up to her".

  • Right after he invited his mothers best friend over and them killed her as well.
  • He them turned himself over to the police.

Prison

  • He is one of the very few serial killers to turn themselves over.
  • He was sentenced to life in prison.
  • He still serves today.
